SPCB seizes 15 kg of banned polythene 11/19/2016 10:09:30 PM Early Times Report RAMBAN, Nov 19: A team consisting of officers from State Pollution Control Board and Municipality Ramban today carried out surprise inspections in different markets of the area and seized about 15 kg of banned polythene material. The team issued warnings to shop keepers and asked them to desist the use of polythene bags that have been banned under J&K non- biodegradable Act 2007. Later, Divisional Officer Pollution Control Board Ramban, Kuldeep Bhan also carried out inspections of vehicles carrying building materials and muck debris from construction sites in Chanderkote, Nashri and Gool road.
