Jagti Migrants write open letter to PM, hail 'demonetization step'

Jammu, Nov 19: In an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kashmiri Migrants under the banner of All Migrants Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) lauded the bold initiative of the Govt in demonetization of Currency notes of Rs 500/- and Rs 1000/- to put check on black money.

Of Block 169/8, Lane-26, Jagti Township, Nagrota, Jammu have expressed their solidarity with PM's efforts to cleanse the system of corruption. "Most humbly it is to apprise your kind honour that All Migrants Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) is a Non-Political Organization working for the welfare of Kashmiri Migrants living in Jagti & other Migrant Camps & Non-Camps in Jammu Division expresses appreciation on the bold initiative of the Govt. in demonetization of Currency notes of Rs 500/- and Rs 1000/-, the letter said. It said, "We express our total solidarity with your efforts to cleanse the System of Corruption."
"Though Tax Evasion has been plagued in many Countries in the world but in our country it was rampant and received support from the Political System which is evident from the hue and cry raised by Opposition Parties over the issue, the letter stated.
"We pray for your success in this gigantic task, the signatories said, adding, "We however request your goodself to take a similar strong initiative for Special Operation to the Properties of those Officials who are and were IAS. and KAS officers working in various parts of the country including Jammu & Kashmir. "The illegal Property which is being dumped by these Officers / Officials needs to be disclosed, they added. "Sir, those (leaders) who are crying nowadays on different TV channels show that these are covertly are involved in mal practice and needed to be show the place also."
"Common People and 7 Lakhs KP's are with your goodself and hope that our PM would like to rehabilitate exiled community in our native land (Valley) because country is complete with Kashmir & Kashmir is incomplete without KPs & KP's are incomplete without Modi, the letter said.
The letter concluded with a request to PM to have a surgical operation against big wigs including politicians and bureaucrats so as to make the war against black money a success.
