Road map to resolve issues of DP's of 1947 demanded 11/19/2016 11:03:32 PM Early Times Report jammu, Nov 19: A 21 member delegation of Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) across the Jammu region led by Gurdev Singh President JKSAC and Netar Prakash (General Secretary) called upon Mehbooba Mufti Chief Minister of J&K State. The delegation in one voice urged upon CM to prepare a comprehensive road map to resolve the legitimate decades old issues of DP's of 1947 from POK taking into account their problems and sufferings. She was also urged upon to impress upon the Central Govt. to expedite the process for release of Rs. 2000 crore package announced by hon'ble Prime Narendra Modi a year back. Gurdev Singh presented his views regarding all the problems of DP's pertaining to both Central and State govt. and apprised Mehbooba Mufti that though this package is just a peanut as compared to their loss of lives and properties and suffering they have gone through from the last 70 years, yet this package has acknowledged the legitimacy of their long awaited demands and now it is a morally as well as mandatory on the part of the State govt. to prepare a comprehensive road map to resolve the issue in one go taking into account the recommendations made by Joint Parliamentary Committee on Home Affairs. While apprising Mehbooba Mufti about day-to-day problems of the DP's Gurdev Singh explained her that DP's are facing a lot of problems while obtaining permanent resident certificates for their wards and family members. Chief Minister listened very patiently in detail about all the issues pertaining to both state and central govt. and assured the delegation to prepare the desired road map to resolve their long pending legitimate problems and will also follow the package to get it released at the earliest.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
