32 kg poppy straw seized 11/20/2016 9:51:08 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Nov 20: Udhampur police today seized 32 kg poppy straw (bukki) which was being smuggled from Kashmir in a truck at Udhampur and also arrested two accused in this connection. The truck bearing registration No PB13Z-4976 was intercepted during a surprise naka at Jakheni Chowk during through search of the said truck 32 kg poppy straw was recovered whole the consignment as well as the truck were seized on the spot while the truck driver and his accomplice identify driver Kaka son of Sulaeman resident of district Sangur Malerkotla (Punjab) and Jahid Husan son of Zamaldin resident of Malerkotla (Punjab) was arrested on the spot.
