PM shocks BJP ministers by seeking details of bank transactions 11/29/2016 11:28:53 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 29: The BJP ministers and legislators of the state have been hit hard by the recent order of the PM Modi to send bank details of all the transactions made after Nov 8 when the demonitisation was announced. There are reports that Central leadership may also seek bank details of their spouses. The order comes just a few days after when the police didn't stop a vehicle of the BJP minister carrying hoards of the cash and also after former Congress ministers leveled serious allegations that a BJP minister had received huge amount for a building project which too is being made by another BJP legislators. "The BJP ministers were thinking that they will always have a field day. AS in alliance government they were not taking direct orders from the CM and were answers more to the party president and also PM, this move has hit them the most. They were indulding in the land deals despite the CM raising concerns about it on number of occasions. But, now when the PM had asked for the bank transaction, they are in a state of shock and more so when there are reports that the records of their spouses and even their family members and also person seem to be close to them will be also sought privately very soon," said a senior official, who is in knowledge of such developments. The sources said that while many BJP ministers and legislators were in constant touch with the top accountants and other people to adjust the cash and also on how to transact the deals, the PM order has sent a first hard signal that more worrying days are coming for them very soon and it also includes for the BJP ministers in the centre from the state. "The BJP leadership was acting as if it was not answerable to the CM . It was the case with the Congress also and it resulted in its debacle. They had an iimpresssion that Modi is too occupied with other things than to check them but this has sent them in a state of shock.
