Two youth drown in river 12/1/2016 10:02:00 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Dec 1: Two youth from Poonch district who were working as laborer in Rajouri town drowned in Agli Tawi river in the vicinity of the town while taking bath in the afternoon today, police said. Police sources said both the youth along with their family members and friends have joined a contractor only few days ago to lay Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) for a private telecommunication company. The deceased have been identified by their relatives/kin as 21 years old Mohammad Imran son of Mohammad Gufar and 17 years old Mohd Jamil son of Abdul Salam both resident of village Loran under Mandi police station in Poonch district. Police said that both the youth along with their relatives and family members were working as a laborers with a contractor laying underground telecommunication Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) between Rajouri-Thananamndi-Darhal. At about 2 pm both the youth along with others had gone to the river to take bath and wash clothes.
