Jammu, Dec 1: Two senior ministers of BJP have been summoned by the party high command in New Delhi in connection with the matter of illegal cash transaction and its transportation in Jammu few days back. The matter came to open after media reported that a vehicle carrying cash belonging to two BJP leaders was intercepted by the Police.
Sources said after the news created flutter in political circles, the state unit of BJP notwithstanding having come in defense of the duo, party leadership has been under pressure to disclose the news in public. Though the BJP leaders who allegedly indulged in cash transaction recently have been identified, the matter continues to be under wraps with Police having hushed up the whole incident instantly, sources said.
However, the party's central leadership is learnt to have taken serious note of the matter following which two senior ministers have been summoned to New Delhi, sources said.
