Jammu, Dec 1: High court judge Alok Aradhe has quashed the premature retirement of a girdawar who was prematurely retired nearly 11 years back. Kuldip Kumar was girdawar when he was prematurely retired in the year 2005.
Justice Aradhe, after hearing the two sides, the respondents had not taken into account the service record of the petitioner while passing the impugned order on April 26, 2005. "In view of the preceding analysis, the order is hereby quashed," he ordered.
"The respondents are directed to reinstate the petitioner into service and accord all consequential benefits. Needless to state that respondents shall be at liberty to take action against the petitioner if so advised in accordance with law," the court said.
