Projected as 'savior', Talib Husain turned out to be a criminal
Mehbooba rakes Kathua case to gain sympathy, blames BJP for all the mess
Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 17: Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and President of Peoples Democratic Party Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday once again targeted her former ally Bharatiya Janata Party by accusing the party leaders of "communalizing" the alleged Kathua rape and murder case.
"Today marks a year since the horrific rape & murder of an eight year old girl in Kathua. Sadly, instead of condemning such a gruesome incident, BJP lawmakers staged protests in favour of the rapists. Even a crime like rape was communalised & passions were stoked to justify it," Mehbooba wrote on twitter.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said that when Mehbooba shared power with the BJP she left no opportunity to justify it (alliance with BJP) but after being ousted from the power she is leaving no chance to blame the BJP for the failure of her government. "Kathua incident was gruesome and everyone in Jammu condemned it. The only demand which was put forward by the people of Rasana was that the case should be handed over to CBI for the fair probe but Mehbooba gave it a communal twist and tried to pit one community against another just for the sake of vote bank politics."
A politician said that the so-called social activist Talib Hussain, who was pampered by the PDP, and projected as the "savior" of Gujjar and Bakerwal community has himself turned out to be a criminal and is facing serious charges. "Mehbooba was the Home Minister of the state when Kathua case came to fore. When the parents of the victim girl registered the missing complaint that time the then Home Minister and Chief Minister did not pat any heed towards it. She started showing interest in the case when she realized that she can derive political mileage from it."
The politician said that people of Jammu would never forgive Mehbooba for labeling them as the "supporters of rapists and murderers" she left no opportunity to malign the image of the Jammu people and Dogras. "By raking up the Kathua rape and murder case she has once again tried to polarize the environment in the state. She is playing all the cards simultaneously to tell the Pak stooges that as Chief Minister she was carrying forward their agenda only and they should once again support her so that her party can win the elections," the politician claimed.
He said that allegations being leveled against the BJP leaders should serve as an eye opener for them also. "When they shared power with the PDP they ensured that they keep the Queen happy and remain in her good books," he added.
