Has Yadav resigned as IYC president due to audio clip?

Early Times Report

Jammu, July 7: Even as Indian Youth Congress (IYC) president Keshav Chand Yadav on Saturday had resigned from his post while taking "full responsibility" of the party's defeat in the Lok Sabha elections but there are rumours that he was forced to submit his papers due to a audio clip which has gone viral in social media.
Credible sources said that Yadav was forced to resign from the post of IYC president due to the audio clip. Earlier he was claiming voice in the audio was not his but later he was asked to submit the resignation to save the party from further embarrassment.
Earlier in the month of October 2016, the then national president of National Students' Union of India (NSUI) Fairoz Khan was forced to resign after a woman worker accused him of sexual harassment.
Khan had resigned from the post after a woman worker from Chattisgarh accused him of sexual misconduct.
Yadav, on the other hand, had given reason of party's debacle in the Lok Sabha elections to resign as IYC president. In a letter addressed to Rahul Gandhi, Yadav wrote, "I joined politics after being inspired by your vision for development and welfare of India. It is just because of your revolutionary step to inculcate one of the finest democratic process in IYC that a common man like me could make a stand in politics. Sir, as you are well aware that I toiled from being a social worker to block level party worker and presently the National President of IYC."
He added, "But now after giving a serious thought on the current political scenario and to stand by your fight and cause, I do hereby take the full responsibility of the 2019 electoral defeat and tender my resignation from my current post. I have always been and will continue to serve the party as a dedicated and responsible worker of the Congress."
