vIts chairman v/s ex chairman Court sets aside transfer of JCCB employee | | | Sumit Sharma Jammu, Jan 8: Finally, the Court has came to the rescue of an employee of the Jammu Central Cooperative Bank who was harassed by the JCCB authorities. The court has set aside his transfer which was `effected on malafide grounds'. In the complaint filed against Chairman and 5 other officers of the JCCB including General Manager, Assistant General Manager, District Managar JCCB Rajouri, Branch Managar JCCB branch Thana Mandi and Nand Kishore, Director JCCB, the employee Liyaqat Hussain has alleged that his transfer was not good in law. The employee sought judicial intervention after he received transfer order vide no ADMN/11464-70 dated 10.11.2012 wherein he was transferred and posted in Branch office Manwal with immediate effect. The Court summoned the JCCB authorities. However, their counsel could not file the objections. Accordingly the court set aside the transfer. According to sources in the bank, Liyaqat was one of those employees who were appointed by the ex-chairman JCCB Tariq. Their sufferings started after Mohinder Singh, an arch rival of former chairman, took over charge as Chairman JCCB. Right after taking charge Mohinder terminated their services which were later restored by the court. However, they continue to suffer in one way or the other. |
