BJP should sit in opposition in JK: Aga Ruhullah | | | Sandeep Bhat
Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 28: As there is uncertainty in formation of next government in the state, many voices have been raised for stable and strong government which represents the entire three region. There is total confusion prevailing in the state for formation of next government as no party managed to get the magic figure of 44 and in present circumstances, nothing is clear so far. BJP secured 25 seats, PDP secured 28, NC got 15 and Congress 12. Talking to Early Times exclusive, Aga Syed Ruhullah, MLA from Budgam of National Conference said that no doubt BJP has 25 seats in assembly but it only represents one region and in no way govern the state which include Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh regions. He further said this party is not acceptable to the people of Kashmir yet and it should concentrate on other things rather making efforts for government formation. The BJP is trying hard to be in government and wants to have their Chief Minister in the state, they want either NC, PDP to join them along with other independent candidates. It is pertinent to mention here that BJP drew flak from Kashmir and Ladakh region so it is very difficult for them. He further added that he has already conveyed his displeasure to his president on joining BJP in government formation. Let PDP decide what they want to do as we already offered support to them. Even Congress supported PDP in formation of next government, keeping BJP out. It is matter of time now when picture will be clear. |
