NABCONS conducts awareness programme on 'commodity markets' for farmers 2/5/2015 11:13:59 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 5: The Refresher programme on 'commodity markets' for farmers which was organized by NABCONS here at district Ramban. According to press release, the work shop was attended by 30 participants from farming background viz. Agriculture, Horticulture LDM Ramban and FLCC Ramban was also present. Assistant Project Manager, NABARD Nikhil Sharma welcomed the participants and outlined the details of the programme by briefing the distinguished guests about the workshop. He highlighted that price discovery and better price realization to farmers for their produce are main objectives of commodity futures market and with the help of Powerpoint Presentation on projector; farmers were thoroughly briefed about the whole concept of Commodity Trading. Beside, participants present also participated in the programme with queries, suggestion, views .The participants were very much in praise for NABCONS for sharing the same.
