Jammu, Feb 5 : To speed up the works, the Public Works Department, Road and Building, Development Commissioner Bimal Tikoo, Superintendent Engineer, Jammu, SP Manhas today reviewed major ongoing works.
As part of reviewing exercise, Commissioner along with other officers of R&B visited various areas and reviewed six lane road project of Satwari- Kunjwani, followed by their visit to Jammu Airport in which they also reviewed the ongoing work of Hanger building. Meanwhile, the entire team of R&B visited Tawi fourth bridge and reviewed the ongoing work of alternative connectivity to Airport road. They also visited Niki Tawi Bridge and took stock of the ongoing works on the bridge, which was damaged in previous year flash floods and also reviewed the ongoing work of Tawi Island via Karnal Chowk road. They asked the field staff to speed up the works, so that all the works would be completed in time. |
