Workshop on Enhancing Research Skills in Philosophy held 2/16/2015 11:01:51 PM Early Times Report Katra, Feb 16: The School of Philosophy and Culture, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVD University) Katra organizes a five day "Workshop on Enhancing Research Skills in Philosophy",. The inaugural session was presided by the Vice Chancellor Prof.Sudhir K. Jain SMVD University and the Guest of Honour was Prof. P. Jaitley. Dr. V.K Tripathi (Director, SOPC) welcomed all guests. Ashok Tarai (Organizing Secretary) introduced the concept note of the workshop. Prof.Jetli highlighted Philosophy as an epitome of academic activity. Prof. S.K Jain emphasized Philosophy as a discipline that permeates every other discipline and mode of enquiry.
