GDC Udhampur organises awareness programme 2/16/2015 11:06:10 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Feb 16: NSS/NCC units of the Govt. Degree College Udhampur organized an awareness programme for the staff & students of the College in connection with Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. Abhishek Kumar Sharma a social activist from Utter Pardesh addressed the students of the institution. He is on the mission to spread awareness under Swacch Bharat Abhiyan on bicycle. He has visited more than 500 institutions to aware the general masses about the cleanliness. He interacted with students and deliberated about the importance of cleanliness. He also gave many tips for making their surroundings clean motivating one's neighbors and other to keep the environment clean. Principal of the College Prof. S.S. Bhalwal presided over the programme. " In his address he lauded the efforts of Abhishek & said that Make India Clean is a noble cause and all religions preach the cleanliness of one's surroundings."
