Shiv-Ratri celebrated by Brahma Kumaries 2/16/2015 11:10:08 PM Early Times Report kathua , Feb 16: Maha Shiv-Ratri was celebrated at Kathua on Monday by Brahma Kumaries at Ishwariya Viswa Vidhyala Centre. The celebration organized under the guidance of Brahma kumara Veena Ji who is also the District Head of Brahma Kumaries centres of District Kathua. The Chief Executive officer of Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority, Dr. Bharat Bhushan was the chief guest who inaugurated Shiv Ratri festival, in the presence of a large number of devotes present on the occasion. Brahma Kumari Veena Ji presided over the function. Brahma Kumar Govind Bhai through the medium of Poems highlighted the importance of Shiv Ratri and the need for respecting sisters and daughters. Brahma Kumari Jyoti gave brief history of the Sanstha which is spread in over 137 countries and propagating the message of universal brotherhood, Fraternity and communal harmony through its more than 9000 centres. Brahma Kumaries Veena Ji, in her address congratulated people on the occasion of ShivRatri and asked all those present on the occasion to follow the path of rightness and work for betterment of self and the community.
