JURSEA stages protest against acting VC, JU 2/21/2015 11:08:41 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 21 : The activists of Jammu University Research Scholars Executive Association (JURSEA) protested against university authorities for removing HoD Dogri Prof Archana Kesar from the position and blasting occlusion to entry of three JURSEA office bearers. They demanded that HoD Dogri be re-instated at her position and the suspension of three scholars also be revoked at the earliest. JURSEA members lamented the acting Vice chancellors authoritarian style of functioning and termed him as incompetent to take action against the culprits but amusing few of the tainted officials in lieu of getting permanent stature of Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu. "The allegations leveled against HoD Dogri, are baseless and she is been victimized as vindictive policy designed inside the VC Chamber, under the patronage of acting VC Prof. R D Sharma, who instead of taking cognizance of the fraud in the evaluation of answer scripts of MA Dogri (2nd Semester), and appreciating the watchful act of HoD Dogri for highlighting such fraud, has succumbed to the pressure tactics of some of the infamous elements" they remarked.
