| 5 hurt in family feud | | |

KISHTWAR, Feb 21:At least five persons were injured in a family fued at Padyarna, about 40 km from here today.
As per the details available, the dispute started between the two brothers over some land dispute resulted into grave injuries to five persons of a single family who were shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar where doctors are providing them the treatment. The injured persons were identified as Madan Lal Sharma (40 yrs) son of Nath Ram, Kuldeep Sharma (30 yrs) son Jagdish Kumar, Anjana Devi (19 yrs) daughter of Madan Lal, Purnima Devi (36 yrs) wife of Madan Lal and Suman Sharma (20 yrs) son of Madan Lal all resident of Padyarna Kishtwar.
While talking to "Early Times" injured Suman Sharma said that his relative namely Daya Krishan son of Shiv Dutt, Rajni Kant son of Daya Krishan and Krishna Devi wife Daya Krishan along with others entered into their home and attack them with sharp edge weapon as a result of which they received serious injuries, beside one of their family member namely Kuldeep Sharma lost his right hand fingers. He said that after attacking and injuring them, the attackers escaped from the spot after seeing the police party coming. He said that it was only due to efforts of police and locals, they were shifted to hospital.
Meanwhile police on the bases of the complaint register an FIR and started its investigation and also launched a man hunt to arrest the absconders. |
