| DIG Nisar chairs first Police-Public Meet | | |

KISHTWAR, Feb 21: After assuming his charge, DIG Doda Kishtwar Ramban (DKR) Nisar Ahmed today chaired the first Police-Public meeting held at Police Control Room (PCR) Doda. A large number of eminent persons attended this meeting.
During the course of meeting, the participants raised a number of issues such as irregular traffic management, menace of bovine smuggling and drugs smuggling etc. Locals lauded the role of Police Department in redressing the grievances of the public from time to time.
Chairing the meeting DIG DKR Range Nisar Ahmed gave a patient ear to the grievances of the people and assured them that the problems pertaining to Police Department will be resolved on priority while as the grievances pertaining to other departments will be taken up accordingly for prompt redressal.
Among present in this meeting included SSP Doda Z N Manhas, DySP Hqrs. Doda, Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmed, SHO P/S Doda and others . |
