SACEA alleges step motherly treatment of Govt with employees | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 21: Jammu and Kashmir State Aids Control Employees Association (SACEA) alleged for the step motherly treatment of government with the Contractual employees of Centrally Sponsored schemes including NACO, NHM, RNTCP, MGNREGA and others. According to press release, State President Shahnawaz Ahmad said that government of J&K has framed a policy under which all the contractual employees of state has been regularised who have completed seven years of service whereas Govt failed to frame any such policy for such contractual employees who are serving in the state for the last more than 10-15 years under centrally sponsored schemes. "It is very painful matter that, when association approached central govt for regularisation we have been replied that it is the responsibility of State govt to regularise and other side the state govt claimed that it is Central government's responsibility," he claimed and adding neither association were accepted by central nor State Govt. They demanded from Prime Minister or Chief Minister that association was begging for regularisation as they have been serving on contractual bases for a long time with an irresponsible salary, having responsibility of family on shoulders to perform which is becoming so difficult for them in the absence of regularisation & proper amount of salary. They appealed to Central Govt to frame a policy for the regularisation of all the contractual employees across the country who are working under central Govt sponsored schemes and projects. |
