Ek Smaan Munch stages play 3/15/2015 11:25:14 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 15: Ek Smaan Munch affiliated with Lalded Women Welfare Society (Regd.) today staged Nukkad Play namely "Dahej Bana Kalesh" at Channi Himmat, Jammu as per its Saturday series where performance over this evil was given and highlighted its side effects in the society. The play is conceived & written by Rampaul & Directed by Naveen Pal. The story opens with one male character "Nattu" who is against dowry acceptance in his fort coming marriage while as his parents who are inspired by the prevailing tradition and want to accept maximum dowry items in his son's marriage. So many people are asking for "Nattu" relationship and want to fix relation on the basis of offering maximum dowry. His parents are also eager to receive big dowry. On the other hand "Nattu" who is an educated & modern boy do not want to make any relation to whomsoever offer dowry. "Nattu" wants to settle with a educated & intelligent girl who respect all his family members and not to a girl giving preference with dowry, so that she could not exploit them later on. But one day his parents selected a girl who are quite rich and offering a big dowry. "Nattu" wanted to avoid the occasion but declined in front of the power of parents. Ultimately he gave consent to talk first and the girl wearing a black goggle & he suspected something foul, "Nattu" removed her goggle and found she was defective by one eye. He at once shouted that you are the cheaters and want to deceive me under the cover of dowry. He said I do not want to tie any relationship with you fraud people, go and search somewhere at else place and throw your dowry items before someone greedy boy. He also told that I have already witnessed a lot of dowry related suicide cases and everyone knows the side effects. Nattu also requested to this parents that you should not come under influence of such things and this is a eye opener case. Be vigilant of such people who want to ruin my life.
