PSA alleges discrimination in granting affiliation to private schools 3/16/2015 12:36:57 AM Early Times Report udhampur, Mar 15: Private Schools Association Unit Udhampur alleged discrimination in granting affiliation and up gradation to private schools. In a meeting which held at Liittle Angels High School dhampUur under the chairmanship of Ajay Gupta State Coordinator PSA J&K. Members from different zones highlighted their problems which they face at different quarters. They said on February 10, 2014, 312 cases of both Government and Private schools were granted extension in affiliation & up gradation. But it is very much unfortunate that some of the Private schools out of these schools were granted Recognition by the Govt. on the bases of recommendations made by the BOSE authorities' reasons best known to them. On the other hand most of the schools were deprived of Recognition & a new order has been issued by the Govt. 0n 27/02/15 by virtue of which the remaining private schools are being re inspected. This type of indiscrimination is not understandable & creating harassment as it is against the principle of natural justice. State Coordinator Ajay Gupta briefed the members that this type of step motherly treatment has already been brought in the notice of Hon'ble Minister of Education Naeem Akhter & Hon'ble Minister of state for Education Priya Sethi by the representatives' of central body of PSA headed by Kamal Gupta along with Prof .(Dr.) C.L. Vishen from Kashmir division.
