Junior employee signs on behalf of 2 offices Alleged lawlessness in JU 3/18/2015 12:41:18 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 17: Even if the high hopes from the PDP-led regime, which had fought elections over the issues of corruption free and clean governance, come true or not, the alleged 'favouritism and nepotism,' still continues in the government establishments which is evident from a junior employee 'Irfan Goni' signing the official letters from Officer Offsite Campuses Development. Believe it or not a letter from the Officer Offsite Campuses Development of Jammu University surprised the university authorities when they themselves saw a letter duly signed by one Irfan Goni, a junior employee. The documents in the possession of Early Times revealed that a letter from the office of the Coordinator Campuses bearing no CC/JU/15/49-60 dated March 9 of 2015 addressed to Rector Kathua campus was signed by Irfan Goni who is Officer Offsite Campuses Development While another letter in the possession of Early Times revealed that a letter from the office of the Chief Coordinator Campus bearing no CC/JU/15/60-63 dated March 9 of 2015 to all rectors and Director off site Campus, JU was also signed by Irfan Goni. Pertinently there is total lawlessness prevailing in the Jammu University that a single person is signing letters issued from two different offices i.e office of the Coordinator Campuses and office of the Chief Coordinator Campus. Irfan who is well connected to political and influential persons was appointed by Prof Amitab Mattoo at Bhaderwah Campus as Laison Officer on contract basis but was transferred from there by the then Rector IA Hamal to Reasi Campus. Once again he was transferred from there and shifted to General Zorawar Singh Auditorium and on the complaints he was shifted to Kathua Campus as Laison Officer. He allegedly has blessings of Prof Daud Iqbal Baba who is Director Reasi, and Coordinator Campuses and is allegedly authorising him to sign and send the letters to various seniors officers.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
