| J&K Chapter ICAI organizes seminar on 'statutory bank audit' | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, April 1: J&K Chapter "Institute of Chartered Accountants of India-(ICAI) hosted a seminar today at Hotel K C Residency, Jammu on the topic of "Statutory Bank Audit".
CA Ajay Kumar Jain from Delhi and CA Vinay Saraf from Jammu attended the occasion as Guest Speakers and delivered keynote addresses on the subject.
Addressing the participants in this seminar, special invitees deliberated in detail about the various important aspects of conducting the Statutory Bank Audit. They discussed the various provisions of RBI, including latest master circular and all other circulars governing bank audit, restructuring of advances by the bank, prudential norms of classification of assets etc.
Earlier Chairman J&K Branch of ICAI, CA Anil Sharma while presenting welcome address highlighted the role of Auditors during bank audit & apprised the members about the various activities being undertaken by the branch.
CA Deepak Kapahi, Vice-Chairman J&K Branch of ICAI, conducted the proceedings and also presented the vote of thanks.
Among prominent present included CA Dalip Kaul and CA Vikram Garg (Both ex-chairman) and other members of Chartered Accountants in the seminar. |
