| Extension unit of MIER organizes a skit on 'alcoholism' | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 1: A skit was organized by the Extension Activity Unit of MIER College of Education at west Colony, near Railway Station, Jammu on the theme of Alcoholism.
During the event a group of 22 members of Extension Unit along with the incharge Mrs Suman Devi visited the slum area and staged a skit to aware people about menace of 'alcoholism'.
The skit highlighted the effects of alcohol addiction on families and children resulting into domestic violence and stealing etc. The presentation was highly appreciated by the locals.
In the end Mrs Suman Devi formally thanked the participants and the slum dwellers for their cooperation and support.
Dr Renu Gupta, Director, MIER appreciated the efforts of the unit for spreading awareness among the different sections of the society on such a pertinent problem. |
