| MoS PHE tours Vijaypur, takes stock of problems | | |  Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Apr 20: MoS, PHE Irrigation flood control Abdul Majid conducted a tour at Vijaypur constituency and also attended the meeting organized by PDP leader Dr. Harmesh Singh Slathia at PDP office Vijaypur.
The workers apprised the minister of regarding the problems of scarcity of drinking water and also about the loss of crops due to heavy rain fall and flood. The workers of Ramgarh sector told him that previous govt. had sanction funds for the construction of band at the bank of Devak to the tune of Rs. 8. crore but the funds has not been utilized on grounds the inquiry should be conducted and defaulter culprits be punished.
They demanded for compensation to the affected farmers and free ration. The people of kandi area told the Mos that many Tubewells are not functioning properly due to poor infrastructure. Dr. Harmesh Singh Slathia also apprised the minister regarding the problems of poor administration and corrupt official who are not discharging their duties properly &they are still adopting the same practice as they have during previous govt.
Minister assured the public that their problems shall be addressed soon and he further assured that coalition govt. led under Mufti Mohammad Syed. |
