Bali Bhagat inaugurates 3-day training workshop 4/20/2015 11:10:06 PM Early Times Report KATHUA, Apr 20: Minister for Forest, Ecology & Environment, Bali Bhagat today inaugurated a 3-day Training Workshop on Human Wildlife Conflict Mitigation at Wildlife Training Centre, Jasrota in Kathua. The Workshop has been organized by the Department of Wildlife Protection, J&K in collaboration with the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI). During the 3-day training programme as many as 40 field functionaries of different wings of the Forest Department from Jammu Division will be given orientation by the experts of WTI to deal with the man-animal conflicts in the State. MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia hailed the efforts of the Department to organize such a programme. He stressed the need for involvement of local people in protecting the forests and wildlife.
