| Need of new mechanism against selfish agendas: PAPA | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 20: Either of Kashmir valley or the nexalities of central India, separatists seem active on both fronts' i.e. foreign as well as selfish agendas whereas so-called main stream and other traditional politicians were/are also active on selfish agenda while leaving aside their patriotic approach, alleged by the president of non political organization People's Action & Public Accountability (PAPA).
No doubt the previous regimes failed to address the public sentiments and genuine needs of the said areas and provided ground to the separatists to penetrate but on the other front said forces seem reluctant to wait for the results of expected credible working of new state governments of Chatisghar, Jharkhand and Jammu-Kashmir which certainly reflects their selfish agendas too, PAPA added.
Similarly, so-called main stream and other traditional politicians (non ruling lot) too were found disinclined to perform a responsible in the best interest of state and society due to selfish concern, PAPA alleged. Valley based separatist leaders of J&K were quite mum suspiciously over the worst ever out gone corrupt regime of NC & congress for six years and allowed the nurturing of malpractice around but seem reluctant to provide chance Mufti Mohd. Sayeed as Chief Minister, for a credible performance, PAPA added. Nobody among the separatist leaders took any notice of illegal constructions and an unwanted encroachment of water bodies in Kashmir responsible for the worst ever floods during recent past. Though such lot of separatist leaders may have some across the border related compulsions but they would have sympathies towards the miseries of masses, it added.
NC, Congress & NPP leaders of state putting their all possible efforts for highlighting the non issues like charging of toll at highways, shifting of AIIMS at Jammu while ignoring the sensible cause of farmers' compensation on Delhi government's pattern, up gradation of existing health & education infrastructure, check on menace of adulteration, early finishing of rural sanitation work, relief to the handicaps and day to day price control of vegetables & fruits, PAPA alleged.
An immediate exploration of some new mechanism to defeat the selfish agendas of both separatists and the so-called main stream politicians of different traditional political parties must be a prime agenda of central and state governments for which due attention must be given towards the honest identification of patriotic lot of countrymen, PAPA concluded. |
