SST calls on Priya; discusses establishment of IIT 4/20/2015 11:23:21 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 20: The Site Selection Team (SST) from Union HRD Ministry called on Minister of State for Information, Education and Culture Priya Sethi to discuss proposed sites for establishment of IIT in Jammu. Priya expressed hope that establishment of such institutions would greatly help in promotion of job intensive courses in the State. She said establishment of such institutes greatly helps student realise their potential. "Our state has tremendous potential to produce young meritorious technocrats, and setting up of such an institute will help to harness that potential'' She maintained. Earlier, the team before meeting the Minister had an extensive tour of proposed sites at Samba and Kathua. The team comprised various experts including Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, Rajinder Bahl, Prof. Vinod Kumar, S. N. Singh and A. K. Singh.
