Govt goes missing in Poonch: Jan 4/20/2015 11:44:01 PM Early Times Report Poonch, Apr 20: Terming Government as "Missing" in Poonch rural belts, Senior National Conference leader and former Member Legislative Assembly Ajaz Ahmed Jan held a protest demonstration in Balnoi village and said that 30 families of this village face imminent death as their house are about to collapse. Jan along with his party leaders today visited Balnoi area to take stock of the situation that has arisen after heavy rainfall and floods. Jan was surprised to see the pathetic condition of the people living in the area where at least 30 families are living in the mouth of death. Terming it a total failure of government, Jan held protest demonstration with banners " Govt Missing". He said that Govt is nowhere for the people of Poonch as not even a single team of government has visited the area to access the bad condition of the people living in the area. He said that people have complained that not even assessment has been made about their loses in the recent floods and rainfall. Expressing anguish, Jan said that people had given mandate to PDP with some hopes but all the hopes shattered in one rainfall and people again coming to National Conference for redressal of their problems. He said that an era of non governance and non performance has started and PDP-BJP government is not mitigating the sufferings of the people. Accusing PDP-BJP government for their apathetic attitude towards Poonch, Jan said that PDP and BJP are busy only in the politics and Hurriyat affairs and they have forgotten everything else. "They have started releasing and arresting Hurriyat leaders and creating controversies to divert the attention of people from real issues of public grievances", Jan said adding that National Conference will corner this government for its anti-people policies.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
