| Paddar reviews progress of works in PHE, I&FC sector | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 20: Minister of State for Public Health Engineering, Irrigation and Flood Control, Animal Husbandry and Forests, Abdul Majid Paddar along with team of senior officers of the district administration and engineers visited Vijaypur and Bari-Brahmana areas of Vijaypur constituency today.
During the visit, the Minister inspected various ongoing works being executed under PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control sectors and also took stock of the functioning of these departments.
Interacting with the people at various places, the Minister said that the Government is already aware of the peoples' problem, adding that various initiatives have been taken for their redressal. He said the motive of the government is to provide basic facilities to the people at their door-step for which coordinated efforts are needed.
Paddar instructed the concerned officers and engineers to work with utmost dedication and come up to the expectations of the people.
He enjoined upon them to remain at the beck and call of the people to address their grievances. Responding the demands at Bari-Brahmana Dollian, the Minister announced digging of one tube-well and installation of 4 hand pumps to meet the requirement of drinking water in the area. |
