| RET Teachers demand release of salary | | |

Jammu, Apr 20: All Jammu and Kashmir RET Teachers Forum appealed the government to release their pending SSA salary of several months.
While speaking in the press conference at Jammu, State President Vinod Sharma on behalf of the RET Teachers Forum showed strong resentment against the casual approach of the government to release the salaries of thousands of RET Teachers working under SSA.
He said that the families of these Teachers are on the verge of starvation and these teachers have became helpless to support their families. He said that they have projected this issue with the Govt. many times and even met with Education Minister and Finance Minister. He also said that they have also protested peacefully to raise their voice but still the salaries of 6 to 12 months have not been released.
He further said that it is unfortunate that they have learnt throughprint media that centre has refused to release the remaining funds under SSA for the financial year 2014-15. He said that how can they run their families without salaries. |
