Jammu, Apr 20 : More than 100 members of Saint Gobain comprising men, women and children assembled at KC Sports Club this morning to hold their sports meet.
The event constituted of the usage of various sports and fitness facilities available at the Club, namely, Cricket, Table Tennis, Rock Climbing, Martial Arts and Trampoline. These sports and fitness enthusiasts had a very enjoyable day out at the Club that lasted about 3 hours. The event began with men playing a Cricket match inside the spacious indoor Cricket Hall which has the distinction of providing the people of Jammu a huge air-conditioned and well- lit indoor space suitable for intensive net practice in both batting and bowling and for playing recreational and competitive Cricket matches. The match lasted for about one and a half hours and the men enjoyed it thoroughly. Women and children had a gala time playing Table Tennis matches, learning martial arts and frolicking on the trampoline in the ground floor halls offering these sporting and fitness facilities. Many of them tried their hands and feet even at the Rock Climbing wall inside the Gym Hall under the guidance of trained Club instructors. The event concluded with all the people assembling in the reception hall for a surprise activity specially organized for them by the Club. |
