Jammu, Apr 20: Promoting his vision to develop Jammu West as a model Constituency, BJP MLA Sat Sharma (CA) today toured Patoli, Toph Sherkhania and Paloura areas of Ward Number 39 and inspected the conditions of the roads in the area which needed Black Topping and Pre Mix repairing. Accompanied by PWD and JMC officials, Sharma thoroughly reviewed the construction works to be taken up in the area and directed the concerned officials to cope up with the basic needs of the people.
The work from Best Price Road, Toph Sherkhania to Paloura (Thather) will be repaired by using Black Topping and Pre Mix repairing will be done under the supervision of PWD (Public Works Department) at an estimated cost of around Rupees 11.50 lakhs. The works of Lanes and Drains in Thather area will be done under the supervision of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation). Sat Sharma (CA) said that the problem of repairing of roads, lanes and by-lanes have been pending from a very long time and their conditions have worsened due to excessive amount of rains which has led to their dilapidation and it is my duty to provide best infrastructure to the public of Jammu West.
He said that such works in the area will provide better connectivity of roads covering areas like Patoli, Toph Sherkhania, Paloura and will also minimize the traffic jams in the area.
He assured to the masses of Jammu West that each and every nook in the Constituency will be covered in terms of development and the public will itself witness the progress in the Constituency.
Ex En Rajesh Bhagat, Ex En Paramjit Singh, Sanitation Officer Dr Jaffer, BJP Janipur Mandal President Praduman Singh, Kuldeep Mangotra, Ashwani Churungoo, Bal Khajuria, Sanjay Sawhney, Jagmohan, Amit Mangotra, Prem Sudan, Vicky Mangotra, Bansi Lal and others also accompanied the MLA during his tour. |
