| Youth commits suicide, two other found dead mysteriously | | |

Jammu, Apr 20: A youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance while two others found dead under mysterious circumstances. Concerned Police have registered respective cases and started investigations. Police sources said that a youth identified as Sunny (24) s/o Yashpal of Nanak Nagar. "Sunny fell unconscious at his residence on Sunday, police sources said while adding, " family members shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) and he failed to respond the treatment today early morning. After autopsy the body was handed over to family members for last rites a case in this connection has been registered to ascertain exact reasons behind such an extreme step. Meanwhile, an unidentified male person (45) was found dead mysteriously at Canal Road, this afternoon. Police sources said that information was received that a man is lying unconscious and acting on the complaint police team led by in-charge Police Post Canal Road PSI Sandeep Charak reached the spot and shifted the unconscious man to GMC&H Jammu where he was declared as brought dead. Yet in another incident, General Railway Police (GRP) today recovered a body along the railway track at Jammu Railway Station. Both the bodies were kept in the mortuary of GMC&H for identification and other legal formalities, police sources said. |
