JAMMU, May 19: Annual inter-school judo tournament of Jammu district, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), got underway at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today. Around 330 boys, drawn from various government and private educational institutions are taking part in this competition being held in under-14 and under-17 categories.
Earlier, the competition was declared open by district officer, Sukhdev Raj Sharma. Today's bouts were officiated by the technical penal comprising Varinder Sharma, Raman Sharma, Omkeshwaer Sanyal, Kamal Singh and Taruna Khajuria.
