Inter zonal level tournament, concludes at Samba 5/19/2015 10:26:09 PM Early Times Report Samba, May 19: The department of Youth Services and Sports District Samba organized Inter Zonal Level Tournament U-14, U-17 (Girls & Boys) under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Samba Subash Chander Bhardwaj, today at Samba. Joginder Singh S. S. P Samba, was the chief guest on the occasion. While addressing the participants, the chief guest stressed the players to avoid drugs, bad company and advices to become a good citizen for future and our country. The DYSSO Samba and Prinicipal GHSS Girls presented the trophies to winners. The tournament was being played in all districts of Jammu under the overall supervision of Director General Youth Services and Sports Navin Aggarwal (IPS). The District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Subash Chander Bhardwaj gave heartiest thanks to the Chief Guest SSP Samba, all participants from all the zones and all the prominent dignitaries, Students and organizing committee of the venue. District Sports Officer honored the Chief Guest by presenting him a bouquet and mementoes. A total of 300 students participated in Zonal Level. The dignitaries present on the opening ceremony were Rakesh Verma, B. D. Sharma, Vijay Singh Slathia, Pardeep Singh and Raghubir Singh, Dr. Monika, Dr. Sunil Dubey and I/c Activity Rekha Sambyal. The matches were officiated by Rajni Devi, Purab Chander, Sudesh Sharma, Prem Nath, Rajinder Singh, Sudershan Kumar, Chanchla, Suman Sambyal, Meenu Kumari, Renu, Rama Rani. .The results were as in KHO - KHO, U-14 Girls Played between Samba Zone V/s Vijaypur Zone and won by Samba Zone by 1 point. In KHO - KHO U-17 Girls, Final match was played between Samba Zone V/s Purmandal Zone and won by Samba Zone by 21 points. In KABADDI U-14 Girls, Samba Zone won the match played between Samba Zone V/s purmandal Zone by 11 points, in KABADDI U-17 Girls, Samba Zone won the match played between Samba Zone V/s Vijaypur Zone by 21 points In VOLLEYBALL U-14 Girls, Vijaypur Zone won the match played between Purmandal Zone V/s Vijaypur Zone by 2-1 Sets While in VOLLEYBALL U-17 Girls, Purmandal Zone won the match played between Samba Zone V/s Vijaypur Zone by 2-0 Sets   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
