TNWS delegation calls on Div Com 5/19/2015 11:19:03 PM Jammu May 19: A deputation of Trikuta Nagar Welfare Association (TNWS) headed by Vikram Gour, President TNWS alongwith Er. SC Sharma (CE Rtd), Er Ashok Arora (SE Rtd), Rajinder Kakkar and Sandeep Sharma met Dr Pawan Kotwal, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu to discuss with improvement works being carried out by PDD under A-APDRP and sought his intervention for shifting of 33/11KV Stn under R-APDRP scheme near Trikuta Nagar. The delegation also demanded over hauling of 33-KV, 11-KV and LT distribution network 8-33/11 KV, S/S are also to be created. The deputation urged Divisional Commissioner Jammu to ask the PDD authorities to construct the new S/S around Rail-Head complex. They said It will relieve above mentioned three 33/11KV Sub-Stns.to the extent of shifted load and the spare capacity thus created will besides stabilizing will cater the growing load demand of the leftover area for some time. "Since S/S is being proposed next to the loads, the reduced 11KV line lengths will result in reduced technical-losses as well as saving avoidable expenditure, they said, adding that an Idly lying 33-KV line passing through the area can be use for feeding the relocated Sub-Stn. They said that Jammu Development Authority (JDA) may be approached to spare a piece of land adjoining PHE Tube well in the JDA Park's N-E edge for locating the S/Ss.
