Two absconders arrested 5/19/2015 11:50:37 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, May 19: Rajouri Police have arrested two accused who were declared absconder by a local court. The accused have been identified as Mohammad Iqbal and Zareena Kouser wife of Mohamad Iqbal both resident of village Chaprian. Yash Pal Sharma, SHO Rajouri police station said that both were evading arrest for the last more than one years and added both were booked by the police in case FIR No 470/2014 under sections 366 (kidnapping) and 376 (rape). As a part of drive against absconders of district Rajouri started under the supervision of Dr Haseeb Mughal, SSP Rajouri police team headed by SHO Yaspaul Singh along with a police team arrested both the accused hiding in village Kotdhara. After specific inputs police team search a house in the village on the Intervening night of May 18 & 19 and arrested both the accused. Pertinently the case challan was produced in the local court by the police and as both the accused have failed to attend the court hearing, it has issued warrants under 512 and directed police to produce both the absconder in the court.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
