| Gandhi Nagar residents hold protest demonstration | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 24: Residents of Gandhi Nagar today held protest demonstration under the banner of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Samaj Sevak and People Welfare Samiti headed by S.P Sapolia in which they discussed further course of action against the illegal Management Trust of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple Gandhi Nagar having no mandate
of majority residents of Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
According to press release, they said that the management trust which was formed and headed by Gulchain Singh Charak, had formed trust for vested interests among themselves through undemocratic ways with a motive of misusing Mandir properties for their own benefits.
They further pledge that to fight for the cause of relieving the management of Lakshmi Narayan Temple. They also urged the district administration to hand over the religious affairs of the said mandir to Shri Vashno Devi Shrine Board till the election are held, more over they also pledged to free its assets from the clutches of the present Trust, by all means .
They demanded that the current trustees should resign immediately and pave the way for conduct of fresh election as per the constitution framed by the founder members of the Mandir, involving all residents of Gandhi Nagar who have faith in 'Sanatan Dharma' otherwise we will be forced to takeover the day to day relgious affairs of the said mandir.
Those who participated and expressed their views were Dr. Ksharma, Sanjay Jeteth Vinay Dutta, Minder Dutta, Pandit Ramesh Kumar Raina, Sushil Kumar Mahesh Gupta, Sudershan Bali and Sunita. |
