PHE contractors call on Sukhnandan 5/25/2015 12:13:22 AM Early Times Report Jammu, May 24: Several contractors today called on Minister for PHE, Choudhary Sukhnandan seeking his attention to instruct the authorities about issuing tenders for manual drilling of hand pumps in Kashmir division. The delegation members told minister that they were holding valid licenses for drilling the earth for hand pumps manually from last many years and have drilled scores of hand pumps successfully. They further said that for some months, authorities are only using machines to drill the earth and it has rendered them and scores of labourers attached with them as jobless.
