| AHSAAS holds one day Educational Aid Camp at Dalwah | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 24: Association for Human Service, Aid and Amelioration of Society (AHSAAS)-the social NGO on May 23 organized a one day education aid camp at Primary School Kulwal of Panchayat Lower Dalwah.
All the schools of Dalwah panchayat of Zone Gool participated in the camp. ZEO, Gool, Om Parkash Thakur was present as the Chief Guest whereas Master Qdoos wsa present as the Guest of the honour. Sarpanch Mohd Rafiq Chandel was also present on the occasion.
Dr. Shamshad Shan, Chairman of the organization highlighted the aims and objectives of the society i.e. upliftment of the poor and the downtrodden section of the society. In the camp, the society Chairman distributed scholarship cheques of Rs. 500 to each student upto Class 5th along with some stationary items.
Various speakers present on the occasion also highlighted the importance of upliftment of the downtrodden through various schemes as well as through active participation of various NGOs in the state. At the last, Dr. Shan along with Vice Chairman of the NGO Jan Mohd Chandel and other members of the managing committee honoured the Chief Gues, Guest of Honour and Sarpanch presenting them mementoes and thanked them for participation in the programme. |
