Erstwhile Doda Migrants stage protest 5/29/2015 10:51:15 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 29: Erstwhile Doda Migrants Jammu today staged a strong protest demonstration at Relief Commissioner Office under the leadership of Som Nath General Secretary of the committee. Raising slogans, the protestors demanded registration to genuine' migrants from Erstwhile District Doda now Districts of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban -who had been forced to leave their homes and hearths due to prevailing militancy in their respective areas and due to threat of lives of their family members .They alleged that the matter has been time and again brought into the notice of the Government as well as the authorities of Relief organisation besides having submitted their cases files to the Relief organisation duly completed of all requisite formalities. Still no action has been taken by the Relief organisation in granting registration as migrants to these genuine migrants who have been put to sufferings due to lack of any source of income to manage their domestic needs. The protestors have demanded all facilities as are being extended to the migrants from Kashmir valley to the Doda Migrants with grant of registration as migrants at an earliest enabling these migrants to over cone the present sufferings.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
