| DDC checks upon absentees, seeks explanation | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, May 29: In order to check the punctuality in the government offices, District Development Commissioner Kathua Ajay Singh Jamwal paid surprise visit to the various offices in DC Office Complex here at Kathua today.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Atul Gupta Chief Planning Officer Ram Rattan , District Information Officer Indu Jamwal , and AD Planning Babu Ram accompanied the DDC during the inspection.
During the inspection, DDC found some officers and officials absent from the office without proper leave/permission. The DDC also found that movement registers were not properly maintained. Taking serious note of the absence of officials/ officers, DDC issued notice to the absentees to explain their position.
While warning the officers/officials, DDC said that work culture among the employees is my priority and strict action will be taken against the erring employees. He passed strict directions to the officers for maintaining punctuality and movement registers.
DDC directed the department heads to be on time and adhere to the office timing strictly so that general public shall not face any problem during office hours.
During the inspections, DDC also checked the cleanness and passed instructions to the departments for keeping the offices neat and clean and hygienic.
