CD, SDRF jointly organize awareness camp for NCC cadets 6/8/2015 11:54:05 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, June 8: Civil Defence and State Disaster Relief Force (CD &SDRF) under the supervision of Jabeen Khan, Deputy SP (Civil Defence)on Sunday organised an awareness camp for the NCC cadets to make them aware about their duties during natural disasters. According to spokesperson, the awareness programme was organised at Swami Vishav Atma Nand Degree College at Sunderbani in which more than 500 cadets from various parts of tehsil participated. Col Amit Cansal Camp Commander was the chief guest on this occasion while ASI Mohd Azam, constables Anil Sharma, Janvier Singh Admit Choudhry and others spoke on different topics. Besides this the live demonstrations on fire fighting, earth quakes, flash floods were also organised by the CD & SDRF teams. "NCC Cadets were also aware about their role during natural disasters which include traffic management under supervision, search and rescue, first aid and evacuation of rescued persons and administration of relief camps, conduct of cultural and recreational activities for victims to boost their morale at later/rehabilitation stages, spokesperson added.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
