JMC asks dealers to recall Maggi noodles, lifts 4 samples 6/9/2015 12:06:08 AM Early Times Report Jammu, June 8: Following the instructions vide Govt Order no: 01 of FSC of 2015 dated 25/05/2015, the Health Officer of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Dr Mohd Saleem Khan under the instructions of Commissioner JMC Saujanya Sharma alongwith team of started market inspection of food establishments within the limits of Jammu Municipal Corporation and asked dealers to recall the supply of 'maggi noodles'. According to spokesperson the team comprising Food Safety Officers namely Parmod Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Parveen Kumar & Sunil Kumar Gupta led by Health officer of Jammu Municipal Corporation Dr Mohd Saleem Khan lifted 04 samples of food articles from Residency Road, Jammu which included Dairy Whitener (Nestle Brand), Pasta (Weik field), Cerelac Rice (Nestle Brand) and Pasta (Nestle Brand). Meanwhile the Distributors / whole sellers were directed to recall 'maggi noodles' which has been banned already by the Govt. of J&K State and also directed them to furnish the record / detail of recalled maggi noodles from the market immediately. Dr Mohd. Saleem Khan (Designated Officer, Food Safety) has appealed to the Food Business Operators to supply good quality of Food items to general public.
