10th Reasi District Open Fencing Championship concludes at Reasi

REASI, June 8: 10th Reasi District Open Fencing Championship concluded at Indoor Hall of DIET Reasi here today.
Organising Secretary, Vikas Baru in his address informed that the two day Championship was organised by Reasi District Fencing Association in all Age Groups including boys and girls, in which around 135 fencers drawn from different clubs and schools participated.
DySP (Hqr) Mohan Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion while Jagdish Kuma, Dr Kapoor and Narinder Sharma were also invited as the special guests. The cultural Programme presented by the fencers made the valedictory function colourful.
Winners of the Championship were awarded with certificates and medals on the occasion. Amba Kids Home Panthal emerged overall winner while Panthal Fencing club runner up in girls section. In Boys section, Zorawar Fencing Club Reasi won overall Championship and Royal Fencing club emerged runner up.
Ajay Kumar, Vaneet Pangotra, Abhinav Pangotra and Rajay Kumar were also present as the technical officials of the function.
The Results were as in U-12 Foil Individual Boys, Rahul got gold, Bharat got silver and Saman and Mukesh got bronze.
U-14 Epee Individual Boys, Anurag won gold, Raja won silver, Saman and Mukesh won bronze.
U-14 Sabre Individual Boys, Akshat won gold, Parth won silver, Ajay and Tahir won bronze.
U-17 Foil Individual Boys, Mana vMangotra won gold, PrashantChib won silver, Kapish and Shivdeep won bronze.
U-17 Epee Individual Boys, Parvinder Sharma won gold, Mayank won silver, Vikas and Abhishekwonbronze.
U-19 Sabre Individual Boys, Amit Chib won gold, Nikhil Atri won, silver, Umesh Thakur and Anshit won bronze.
U-19 Epee Individual Girls, Sindhiya won gold, Anu won silver, Sonia and Rajni won bronze.
U-19 Foil Individual Girls, Deepika won gold, Mumtaz won silver, Pallvi and Anshika - bronze.
U-19 Sabre Individual Girls, Keofeeka won gold, NehaSangral won silver, Shivani and Shilpa won bronze.
U-17 Foil Individual Girls, Riya won gold, Anshika won silver, Sonali Devi and Anjali Devi won bronze.
U-14 Foil Individual Girls, Priyanka Bhagat won gold, Nikita wonsilver, Anjali and Pragyawonbronze.
Senior Epee Boys, Muzmal won gold, Anoop won silver, Dhruv and Kamal won bronze.
