JU prepares for inter-college competitions 6/18/2015 10:02:02 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, June 18 : Directorate of Sports and Physical Education of University of Jammu (JU) has initiated the process of holding annual inter-college competitions scheduled to be held from middle of August. As per the tentative program, already circulated with the affiliated colleges, the opening event shall be Cross Country race scheduled for August 18 on the campus. "We recently convened a meeting of the Physical Directors of the affiliated colleges wherein the tentative schedule was discussed in the light of AIU (Association of Indian Universities) fixture for zonal and national level competitions," on being contacted, said Prof Dhian Singh Bhau, Director Sports and Physical Education, JU. The colleges have been told to submit their entries for various events in both men and women sections before July 15 so as to draw the fixtures for various events spread over six months.
