As per reports, the hotel is being conceived near Beli Charana, beyond Fourth Bridge on Tawi, where both, the former Congress Minister and his nephew technocrat own huge properties. While huge fortunes made by the former Minister during his long political career are no secret, sources divulge that his technocrat nephew has also plundered huge wealth and made assets within and outside the state. "He owns a palatial bungalow on19 kanals in a posh locality of the city, 500 kanals of land in Beli Charana, BEd colleges in Kupwara and Srinagar and much more" said a source in R&B. "A secret inquiry was initiated in the alleged disproportionate assets of the influential technocrat, but he got it filed as 'not proved' with the intervention of a former director of the SVO" he added. It is reliably learnt that a senior most officer of the state administration has been providing all support and patronage to this noted technocrat in his acts of omission and commission. |
